Who We Are
Mawa's Kitchen is the hidden jewel of Aspen. This MICHELIN Guide–recommended restaurant is the flagship eatery of owner and executive chef Mawa McQueen, a 2022 James Beard Award semifinalist and recipient of the 2022 Colorado Governor's Minority Business Award. The menu at Mawa's Kitchen is hyper-seasonal and reflects Mawa's international heritage, serving Afro-Mediterranean cuisine with a French-American flair.
Ambiance
Get comfortable in our cozy dining room or relax on our shady, scenic patio, which is open from late spring to early fall. Inside the restaurant, you will find an ambiance like no other—colors that bring a warm welcome, along with art pieces that reflect Mawa’s roots and showcase local artists. Have a seat at our full-service bar, where you can enjoy a cocktail made with our house-made juices or one of our many curated wines as you gaze out our wall of glass windows. Enjoy fine dining at our tables with family and friends, where you can experience many cultural dishes to satisfy your palate.

The food you will find at Mawa’s Kitchen is mostly Mediterranean, with French and African heritage for dinner, as well as American classics for breakfast and lunch.
We can accommodate the following dietary preferences: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low-salt, and diabetic-friendly.
Location
Mawa’s Kitchen is off the beaten path, located in the Aspen Airport Business Center. It may be hard for some to find, but it's well worth the search! We are conveniently located near the airport, downtown Aspen, and Snowmass Village, with plenty of parking available.

Services
Mawa’s Kitchen offers breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, a 4-course tasting menu for dinner Monday through Saturday and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We also offer full-service event catering, private chef services, and in-flight dining on private aircraft out of Aspen Airport.
